If anyone gets the chance, and has a base by an extreme hills biome, could you check it out underground? The server has two types of extreme hills biomes. Press F3. The extreme hills biome I want checked out is just “Extreme Hills”. The other one is “Extreme Hills+”. There might be some bug with “Extreme Hills” that causes it to not generate ores, gravel, or even dirt underground. “Extreme Hills+” seems fine. Was the biome you checked out yesterday after visiting my base an “Extreme Hills+” biome or an extreme hills without the plus, Jenny?
Bumping to try to bring more attention to this game, though not many people use the forums. I want to do like a weekly game night with TTS. Say every Friday night, everyone available joins in a game and we just play random games for a few hours. Any streamer available could stream it for the hell of it. I just really want to play TTS, but I don’t have enough friends that play it and trying to find random strangers to play with online in the server browser is just annoying.
If you’re interested, post here, send me a message, or add me on Steam. We can try to set something up.
It’s hard to pick a game under $10 because you know they’re gonna go down to like $3.50 or something come December. I am a very frugal man, even if I’m getting something for free. Though, if I had to pick, I’d want to get the GOG version of Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe. I’m tired of using a no CD crack in order to play my own version of RCT because I can’t be arsed to pop in the CD to play all the time. Would also be nice to get the two expansions, which are included in the Deluxe version. Or do I have to pick an Indie game? Does RCT count as an Indie game? It was programed entirely by one man.
Edit:Woooow, I called it, sorta, GOG has a sale going on now, RCT Deluxe for $3, RCT2 for $5. If the give away is finished, the sale is still on, and I win, I’d like to add RCT2 onto that.
As for Minecraft, we’ve talked about a non moderated(Other than chat) 1.8 PvP server. But you’re right, the things you mention were good things about GT and worth keeping in mind =)
I was playing Minecraft again last night and was reminded why I haven’t been playing it in a while. Vanilla Minecraft is uber boring. I have been putting it aside while waiting for all the mods to update to 1.7.10. A modded public server would be cool.
I’d like to see a couple servers for Garry’s Mod running TTT and PropHunters, obviously. Wanting to get some prop hunt action going on.
I’d also like to see a server for another game I’ve been playing recently, Blade Symphony. It was in the free play weekend dealy last weekend. Fantastic little sword dueling game, though it’s obviously not as popular as Garry’s Mod or Minecraft.
A new Minecraft server would be cool as well. Maybe not so structured as the last QT server. I always thought that part of the charm of the GreyTheory server was how organic it was. People built where they wanted to and the little towns that sprung up were neat. Even the bank vault system was neat. Want to build a path from spawn to a town you started? Go right ahead! Maybe I’m just nostalgiaing too hard. It’s been a while since I’ve played Minecraft.
I recommend the Logitech G35 headset. Absolutely fantastic, it just has a couple issues. After a great long time of use, the ear cushions will start to flake. I just replaced those with some cushions meant for a MadCatz headset. The other issue is the cloth wrapping around the cord will mess up the cord after a while, it’s hard to explain. It looks nice, but it is better to remove the cloth covering the cord.
I’m currently using a Logitech G930. Basically the wireless version of the G35, but it has an issue with overcharging I think. The headset freaks the fuck out if you use it without letting the battery drain every so often, I usually keep the headset plugged in and I experience this every other day.
You can pick more than one up to $20 but do not pick several games and tiny little DLC’s and make it super complicated. :3 Had one guy try to get 9 games and 4 dlcs after a giveaway and half of them weren’t on sale when the giveaway was over x_x
Sounds like he picked a bunch of games during a holiday sale or something. 9 games and 4 DLC that added up to $20 huh? Wondering why he didn’t just buy the games himself, probably a good deal.
My new cheapy karambits came in sooner than I thought they would.
